We’ll give you suggestions for simple habits and actions you can take right now to help you achieve your goals. Zero in on ONE goal to focus on
Do you have a massive New Year’s resolution list? Many people fail at their resolutions because they’re too big, too vague, or they don’t really want to do them in the first place. Put the resolution list aside for now and simply ask yourself, “If I could improve just one area of my life that would make the biggest difference for me, what would that be?” Give careful consideration to what you pick. Goals must be meaningful to you. Most importantly, it must be something you WANT to do or change. Goals must ignite a passion in you.
Write it down and keep it visible
Write it down in the form of, “I want to….” You fill in the rest. Look at it. Say it out loud. Does it feel right? Can you imagine taking steps to make this change happen? Consider your one goal to work on until you feel EXCITED about it.
Now that you’re excited about making this change, write your topic in a place you’ll refer to often. I like to use the notes feature in my smart phone because I can access that anywhere. You can also get a small notebook to carry with you.
